I was born on the 24th day of August - 1988, in a small Portuguese city called Mirandela.
I was raised in France until I had around six years old.
In 1994 I came to Portugal and entered primary school.
Didn't had a very sane childhood, and used to be retracted inside myself. Which caused what is commonly stated as a disorder, or somehow an anti-social personality until late 1999.
Those years, since I entered primary school, were the very beginning of my doodles and some material experiments, I got a lot of obviously naive work that was death and pain related from that time.
I started to paint in 2002, when I entered Arts and Crafts on high school.
My style back then was inspired and influenced mostly by Dalí, Matisse and other surrealists.
I spent most of the three years in art classes painting with a great lack of technique, trying to put in value only the feelings and messages of surrealism and symbolism, I used to paint what I like to call Naive-Surrealism.
I started my first paintings exhibitions in 2003, and made around 4 exhibitions in museums and state fairs each year (2003-2004,2004-2005,2005-2006) along with my fellow painting partners. I destroyed or re-painted most of these works, and i have in photo only a few.
Later in the end of 2005 I tried to paint a reproduction of an impressionist work and by consequence of being pleased by the result I got slowly and accidentally in the Red/Yellow period that I kept for about a year.
I got in a couple of short-video projects too, and exhibited along with other artists on a contemporary video exhibition/workshop in the middle of 2006.
My relationship with the work in progress started to be very varied since the start. In order to leave a piece of myself on my pieces, a lot of the paint I use is solved with my bodily fluids, such as spit, mucus, sperm or blood.
Due to personal reasons I went to the town of Chablis, in France, alone on September 2006, besides few visits to Portugal due to deaths in the family I kept myself isolated from everything I knew and almost didn’t kept any contact with people, working and giving myself fully to my paintings in my free time, until my came back to Portugal in late 2007
